We must be on constant alert, prepared, and wise. This kit is about the parable about the ten virgins and their preparedness for the bridegroom. In the parable the groom is the Lord. Five of the women are wise and prepared with their oil to light their way, but there are five foolish women that did not bring enough oil. When the groom arrives they try to get oil from the wise women but there is not enough for all 10 so they try to buy oil. By the time they arrive at the wedding it is too late. They cannot enter the gates and the groom does not acknowledge them. Jesus will return and we must be prepared and ready. The Holy Spirit is our oil!
